Steel Panther on Dancing with the Stars tonight!

Taking a break from their current US tour, Sunset Strip legends Steel Panther will be appearing on tonight’s episode of ABC’s top-rated show, Dancing With The Stars. The producers of the show were looking for some help in teaching Cuban born actor William Levy some style essentials for the show’s Rock Week theme and Steel Panther were more than happy to help out. The band offered William and partner Cheryl Burke some advice on everything from fashion tips, most comfortable spandex and best brands of hair spray. The boys will also be attending tonight’s show to witness the final product first hand and to cheer on newfound Panther fans, Levy and Burke. Dancing With The Stars airs on ABC at 8:00PM and is one of the highest rated shows on TV.

Steel Panther is currently out on their US tour in support of their latest Universal Republic Balls Out. Playing to sell out crowds around the world, Steel Panther’s live show has garnered the attention of music legends such as Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard and Motley Crue all of which have tapped Steel Panther to open for them. The band just wrapped up a successful headline run in Europe and the buzz from that tour has already pushed their November return to larger venues to accommodate the demand. They also continue their extremely successful residencies in Los Angeles and Las Vegas when their schedule permits. Guitarist Satchel was also nominated for Metal Hammer’s Golden Gods Awards in the Dimebag Darrell Shredder category this year. Balls Out debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Comedy Album charts and has received raved reviews since it was released last October.

Steel Panther was, for a long time, rock’s best-kept secret: a cult legend on the LA scene. But in recent years due to the success of their debut, the band has enjoyed huge acclaim from fans and peers alike. At sell-out shows in Hollywood and Las Vegas, Steel Panther has been joined on stage by rock and roll icons such as Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Paul Stanley of KISS, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine/Audioslave, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park and Green Day to name a few. Across the Atlantic, the band has shared arena stages with ZZ Top and rocked an audience of 30,000 at the UK’s Download festival. In Germany, Feel The Steel was proclaimed ‘Best Debut Album’ at the Metal Hammer awards.

Steel Panther is Michael Starr (vocals), Satchel (guitar), Lexxi Foxx (bass) and Stix Zadinia (drums).
