“Even though they are known for so many things throughout the world, we love Pfizer for their work in erectile dysfunction and their amazing blue pills. If you lost your prescription or can’t see your drug dealer because of COVID, you won’t need a pill to rock this hard,” explains Steel Panther.

Steel Panther Launch 'The Road to the Road' Bassist Competition

Update: This contest is now closed.

Band Asking Fans To Help Narrow Down The Month-Old Question – “Who Will Be The Next Bassist For Steel Panther”

Band Received Over 1669 Submissions From Their Global Search for a New Bass Player and Bassists Rikki Dazzle and Rikki Thrash are the First Two Finalists

As the music and hairspray world was recently rocked by the shocking news of the departure of their original bassist, California rock legends Steel Panther have been endlessly reviewing submissions from their global search for a replacement. Michael Starr, Satchel and Stix Zadinia have been watching over 1669 individuals submit their videos playing various songs from the band’s catalog as well as explaining why they would be the perfect replacement. The collective brain trust of metal’s sexiest trio has narrowed the submissions down to the final 32. In a March Madness bracket style competition, the band is reaching out to the public to help narrow them down to the final 8. Each day, 2 new finalists will be posted on https://steelpantherrocks.com/pages/the-road-to-the-road and the public will have a chance to vote on who they think should be the band’s new bassist. Early entries by Rikki Dazzle and Rikki Thrash have made it to the finals and both musicians will perform live with the band during their December shows.

“Two Finalists are in, Eight More To Be Selected. That's where you come in!  Welcome to The Road to the Road Tournament!  From over 1669 submissions, we've narrowed the field to the top 32 and we want YOU to help us determine the top 10! Every day between now and December 24th, we're featuring two bassists as we work our way through the bracket below.  All you have to do is check out the videos and vote for your favorites! Let the games BEGIN!!” exclaims Steel Panther.

Earlier this year, Steel Panther decided to pay tribute to the legend Eddie Van Halen in the best way they know how - by going back to their cover band beginnings. The band recorded their interpretation of the seminal tunes “Beautiful Girls” and “D.O.A.” from the classic album Van Halen II. The songs have been some of Steel Panther’s favorites to play live and that became the inspiration to actually record them after all these years. The tracks are available via all streaming and digital platforms and the band filmed quarantine style music videos for each track. Everything for “Beautiful Girls” and “D.O.A.” can be found here: https://lnk.to/SP_beautifulgirls.

The band has been hard at work at new material that will be released in 2022.

The End Of An Era - Thank You, Lexxi Foxx

By Lekberg Enterprises

The End Of An Era - Thank You, Lexxi Foxx

The great pandemic of 2020-2037 has affected all of us. For some though, it has opened doors of opportunity and been a catalyst to seek out one’s true calling in life. This is Lexxi’s story. He started his side business, “Sexy Lexxi’s Prettiest Pets,” to bring in money for Botox during the lockdown. But something miraculous happened. He realized that his love for making pets pretty was greater than his love for being pretty himself. Lexxi discovered a greater love. Possibly, the greatest love of all.

Lexxi has chosen to hang up his mirror and focus on his newfound passion. Making ugly dogs pretty. Anyway, after nearly 40 years of rocking together and taking Steel Panther from the Viper Room to headlining Wembley Arena, it is with heavy hearts - but great heavy metal memories - that we bid Lexxi Foxx farewell. We love you and we wish you a wonderful future putting eyeliner on chihuahuas.

Steel Panther will continue to rock the world. And though we may not ever find a bassist quite as beautiful as Lexxi, it shouldn’t be hard to find one to match his towering intellect.

Good Luck… And goodbye Lexxi Foxx!!

As the world continues to mourn the loss of guitar icon Eddie Van Halen, Steel Panther has decided to pay tribute to the legend the best way they know how - by going back to their cover band beginnings. The band has recorded their interpretation of the seminal tunes “Beautiful Girls” and “D.O.A.” from the classic album Van Halen II. The songs have been some of Steel Panther’s favorites to play live and that became the inspiration to actually record them after all these years. The tracks are available via all streaming and digital platforms and the band filmed quarantine style music videos for each track. Everything for “Beautiful Girls” and “D.O.A.” can be found here: https://lnk.to/SP_beautifulgirls

“When we were playing weekly shows on the Sunset Strip, Van Halen music was essential to our set lists to keep the place rocking. The music of that band is what helped shape who Steel Panther is today. The loss of Eddie Van Halen has affected each of us in the band and these covers are our tribute to him to say thank you for the joy Van Halen music has given us.”

Steel Panther has been helping to support concert photographers that have been sidelined since the Covid-19 pandemic began. Steel Panther partnered with 7 of their longtime collaborators to curate a virtual photo exhibition of each individual’s work for a 2-week period that started on February 1st. The photo exhibition will be available to see and purchase here: https://steelpantherrocks.com/pages/sex-jpgs-rock-n-roll.

Steel Panther Launches Virtual Photo Exhibition 'Sex, JPGs and Rock N Roll' To Support Live Concert Photographers

Band Will Curate A New Gallery Every Two Weeks With Prints For Sale In Various Configurations To Support Concert Photographers Who Have Covered The Band Throughout The Years

First Photographer Niall Fennessy Will Open His Virtual Gallery With An Interview With Stix Zadinia on February 1st at 12:00PM PST

(New York, NY – February 1, 2021) – As the music industry waits for a time when touring can return and fans can gather to celebrate the music of their favorite artists again, Steel Panther has begun another charitable endeavor to help support concert photographers that have been sidelined since the Covid-19 pandemic began. Aside from venues, promoters, support staff, and patrons – concert photographers have had no performances to cover since March 2020. Steel Panther has decided to partner with 7 of their longtime collaborators to curate a virtual photo exhibition of each individual’s work for a 2-week period. Each photographer has captured the band with their lens at various points of their career. Fans can purchase exclusive prints that were hand-picked by the band and photographers in various configurations with the profits going to help each photographer during this touring shutdown. All images are available as a Premium Matte Poster, Framed Print or Framed Canvas with prices starting as low as $24.99. The photo exhibition will be available to see and purchase here: https://steelpantherrocks.com/pages/sex-jpgs-rock-n-roll.

To coincide with the launch of each gallery, an individual band member will interview the photographer about their work, any memories from covering Steel Panther, and allow fans to interact with them when time permits. The first gallery will be by legendary photographer Niall Fennessy who has been following the band for years. Drummer Stix Zadinia will sit down with Niall at 12:00PM PST on February 1st for a chat. The conversation will be available online afterwards and fans can go to: https://steelpantherrocks.com/pages/sex-jpgs-rock-n-roll to check out the conversation. A new gallery will be available for fans to peruse and purchase and every 2 weeks.

The schedule for photographers is:

Feb 1: Niall Fennessy - interviewed by Stix
Feb 15: Joe Lester - interviewed by Satchel
Mar 1: Richard Booth - interviewed by Satchel
Mar 15: Evil Robb - interviewed by Michael
Mar 29: Pamela Sprenger - interviewed by Lexxi
Apr 12: Charlie Steffens - interviewed by Michael
Apr 26: David Jackson - interviewed by Stix

“You see them all the time. They block your view for the first 3 songs and you may even kick them in the back of the head while crowd surfing, but these unsung heroes never complain or kick you back. These photographers have been friends of Steel Panther for a while and we decided for all they have done for us, this was the least we can do. So grab your fancy berets and prepare to learn a thing or two from Steel Panther photography exhibit Sex, JPEGS and Rock & Roll. Admission is free so don’t be cheap and buy something to support these artists.”

Steel Panther Postpone Gobblefest Due To Updated Health & Safety Regulations in Los Angeles

All Purchased Tickets Will Be Honored For Rescheduled Virtual Concert Dates

Band Releases Anthem Of The Year “F#CK 2020” In Response To This Latest News

(New York, NY – December 4, 2020) – California’s greatest livestream export Steel Panther is having to amend their current virtual concert plans as Covid cases tend to rise throughout the United States. With Los Angeles recently updating their health and safety regulations, the enacted stay-at-home order means Michael Starr, Satchel, Lexxi Foxx and Stix Zadinia have to postpone their upcoming Gobblefest livestream this weekend. All tickets will be valid when the event is rescheduled, and more information will be shared when available.

To give fans around the globe – and really anyone with a pulse – something to enjoy, the band has released a re-worked version of their song “Fuck Everybody” from their latest album Heavy Metal Rules as “Fuck 2020.” The newly recorded version includes updated verses that reflect the insanity of this year. As stated as only Steel Panther can: “Fuck 2020. 2020 can suck my dick.” Exclusive “Fuck 2020” merchandise as well as the newly updated music video can be found here: https://steelpantherrocks.com/collections/fuck-2020.

The song will be available on all streaming partners on December 7th – the original release date for the song. Anybody who purchased tickets to Gobblefest will get a free download of “Fuck 2020.”

“This year has been fucking tough on everyone. We were excited to hang with you all at Gobblefest this weekend and hopefully have some laughs, but Covid has other plans for us. We hope you enjoy the new song in the meantime. It has become an anthem for the band - and not just because we wrote it. Please join us in telling 2020 to suck our collective dick.”
